My process
1. Discovery
Your website needs to fulfil your practical needs, while also captivating your customers and motivating them to take the desired action. So we will start by discussing the purpose of your website, who your ideal customer is and what your ‘call to action’ is going to be. I will be giving you some homework to get a better idea of the look and feel we want for your website and navigation options.
2. Inspiration
Once I’ve uncovered your needs, likes and dislikes, I will use that information to draw up the site’s architecture ‘on paper’. I will also produce a set of mood boards presenting a selection of conceptual inspirations and treatments I think will work best for your website. We will brainstorm and refine these concepts together until we achieve one that you love.
3. Creation
Once we have your approved concept and site architecture, I will start building your website. Along the way, I will send you example layouts to review, to make sure I’m tailoring everything to your liking. We will also need to choose all the photographs and imagery.
4. Hand over and training
Once every aspect of your new website is up and running, I will take you on a quick, behind-the-scenes training tour of your Squarespace template. This will show you how to confidently maintain and update your website.
Post Launch
Even though your Squarespace will be surprisingly easy and intuitive to manage yourself, I will still be here after the launch to answer any questions or resolve any teething problems.
