Bringing an artist’s eye to your business branding

 
 


A successful visual brand is much more than a logo. It’s everything words can’t say. It generates the subliminal ‘magic dust’ that inspires trust, confidence and loyalty among your audience.

Whether you’re an independent professional, a small business owner or a practising artist, your brand needs to be crafted to honour who you are, what you do and why. It should make you smile and feel a sense of pride whenever you see it – and have a similar effect on your customers.

My 5-step process

 

1. Discovery

I start the process by listening intently to what you have to say – about yourself, about your work, and what impression you want to make on your audience. We’ll take a deep dive into your creative vision, ideas and aspirations through a live workshop. The more I know about you and your journey, the better equipped I will be to design an authentic visual branding story that aligns perfectly with your needs.

2. Inspiration

Once I’m fully across your vision, I’ll pull together an initial series of ideas and visual inspirations showing the potential design directions we could follow. We’ll discuss what you like and don’t like, and decide which direction we think will work best for your brand.

3. Research

It can be tempting to jump straight in and start coming up with concept designs at this point. But that can be risky. Meaningful brands need time to take shape in the imagination – and be well-researched – before they are ready to be brought into the real world. After research I will create mood boards to show you the look and feel I recommend to best connect with your audience. Our discussions will lay a solid foundation from which I can begin to design your unique brand.

4. Creation

Once we’ve agreed on the overall visual concept for your new brand, I will be able to bring it to life in fine detail. This is the exciting part where all our creative brainstorming gives birth to a unique and beautiful brand design that captures the essence of you and your business and resonates with your audience.

5. Getting ready to launch

We’re almost there. During this last step, we will work together to incorporate any changes and refine everything to your liking – you must feel 100% happy before signing off on our new brand. I will then provide you with a ‘ready to launch’ pack to prepare you for rolling out your new brand.

Post-launch
